Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for the state of Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing speech and language intervention in school-based settings
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students across all grade levels (K-12) in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage collaboratively with teachers, families, and staff to support student success
- Offer consultation and resources to support language development across the district
