Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students and educators in the Greenwich, CT area as a School Psychologist on a contract basis for the full 2026/2027 academic year. In this vital role, you’ll work itinerantly between schools, providing expertise to help students achieve their best and ensuring learning environments are supportive, inclusive, and effective.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Completed graduate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state credential in School Psychology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in schools or comparable educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
- Collaborative mindset and effective communication abilities
- Comfort working across diverse student populations and with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform individualized psychological assessments and interpret results to guide student supports
- Develop, implement, and monitor interventions for academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and offer expertise in eligibility determinations
- Provide consultations and guidance to teachers, administrators, and parents
- Contribute to positive school climate and promote mental health awareness
- Document services and maintain records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
