Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist working with PreK-8th grade students for the upcoming school year. This rewarding position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 30 hours weekly. The contract runs from August 26th through June 10th and allows you to make a daily impact supporting young learners and collaborating with a dedicated team.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid credentials as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
• Understanding of counseling, behavioral assessments, and intervention strategies
• Skilled in conducting and interpreting a range of psychological assessments
• Proficient in IEP writing and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication
• Compassionate approach to working with students from PreK through 8th grade

What You’ll Do:

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, write effective plans, and document student progress
• Conduct psychological evaluations and other assessments
• Work with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop interventions and monitor effectiveness
• Contribute to a positive school environment by offering proactive support and crisis intervention as needed
