Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students
  • Solid understanding of the IEP process, including assessment, goal setting, and documentation
  • Skills in providing effective counseling services and behavioral support
  • Strong collaboration skills to work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 25 students, providing individualized psychological services
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings, helping design and implement educational goals
  • Deliver direct counseling and support to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, services, and progress reports
  • Serve as an advocate for students’ well-being and educational success
