Inspire and empower students by bringing your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to dynamic educational settings for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate educators enthusiastic about making a genuine difference in the lives of children and adolescents with diverse learning needs. With three unique positions available, you have the chance to support students in either intensive or resource environments, all within a collaborative, onsite school community.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school-aged students with special needs
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptable, patient, and committed to fostering inclusive classroom experiences

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instructional support according to individual student needs and IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate records
  • Utilize creative teaching strategies and adaptive materials to maximize student engagement
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and community initiatives
  • Support students’ social and emotional growth alongside academic success
