Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working in K-8 special education, preferably in multi-categorical settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies for diverse learners
• Flexibility to work with both self-contained and resource classroom models
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and related service providers

Daily Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs and IEP goals
• Manage classroom routines to provide a structured, supportive environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to develop and update IEPs
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records of achievement and behavior
• Foster positive relationships with students to promote social-emotional and academic growth
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
