Step into a rewarding, full-time opportunity supporting high school students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This onsite contract position spans from August 24, 2026, to May 2027, with the potential for extension. You'll make a meaningful impact by collaborating with dedicated educators and addressing students' academic, social, and emotional needs within a vibrant high school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active CT licensure and relevant certification required
  • Previous school-based experience essential
  • Comfortable working with a high school caseload
  • Proficient in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations, interpreting results to support individualized educational planning
  • Participate actively in PPT meetings, delivering clear, concise reports and recommendations
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning plans
  • Support students' academic success with targeted interventions and crisis management
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to promote positive school climate and student wellbeing
  • Keep thorough records and ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
