Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a dynamic school setting. This full-time, onsite contract position offers you the chance to make a significant impact on students' communication skills while collaborating with a supportive educational team. With two openings available, you’ll manage elementary caseloads, which may require working across two local school sites, ensuring a diverse and engaging workday.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is mandatory
  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Connecticut
  • Documented school-based SLP experience is essential
  • Knowledge of best practices and evidence-based interventions for elementary-aged students
  • SLPAs are not eligible for this assignment
  • Willingness to complete district background checks and fingerprinting
  • Upfront licensure process completion preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary students
  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Document progress according to school and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals for optimal student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-based multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel between two school locations as caseload requires
