Special Education Teacher | Warren, Michigan

This contract role begins August 31, 2026, and runs through June 25, 2025, offering the chance to make a real impact in the upcoming school year.

In this position, you’ll play a vital role in fostering inclusive, supportive learning experiences for students with diverse needs. Working onsite, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow educators, support staff, and families to develop individualized education plans and engage each learner.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Michigan teaching license with Special Education endorsement (please submit proof of certification with application)
• Proven experience with middle school or special education populations
• Strong understanding of IEP process, goal writing, and classroom management
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to creating equitable learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction aligned to IEPs within a middle school resource room setting
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
