Special Education Teacher | Warren, Michigan

You will collaborate with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams to craft and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) designed for each learner’s unique pathway to success.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with Special Education (SPED) endorsement.
• Hands-on experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Compassionate, patient approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Role responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs tailored to student needs.
• Deliver instruction in both small groups and one-on-one settings using evidence-based teaching strategies.
• Assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed, maintaining thorough records.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure consistency and the best outcomes for every student.
• Participate in parent meetings, faculty collaboration, and ongoing professional development.
