Special Education Teacher - Charlotte, Michigan

Key Qualifications:

• Michigan Special Education certification (required)
• ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) certification (required)
• Previous experience working with upper elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues, students, and families

In this role, you will:

• Deliver targeted, specialized instruction based on each student’s unique needs
• Create and implement interventions and strategies that foster academic, behavioral, and social-emotional progress
• Closely track and document student growth, maintaining compliance with state and program requirements
• Work alongside teachers, therapists, and school support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student development
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students and advocate for their success every day
