The school prioritizes collaboration, offering you the guidance of para-professionals, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), CNAs, or LPNs to support your classroom initiatives. Assignments are focused—just one elementary school—allowing you to build meaningful relationships with students and staff throughout your tenure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teaching License in Michigan (MI SPED license required)
- Experience or passion for working with elementary-aged students on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable and responsive to individual student needs
- Ability to contribute positively within a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized instruction tailored to the needs of ASD students
- Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed

- Participate in virtual panel interviews as part of the selection process
