Special Education Teacher - Great Falls, South Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License with Multi-categorical or required certifications
• Endorsement in early childhood (EC Cert) is required for PreK positions
• Experience supporting students in moderate or special education settings
• Flexibility to work with diverse age groups and adapt instruction for multiple classrooms
• Strong collaboration skills for working alongside general educators and support staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as a dedicated resource for elementary, middle, high school, or PreK students in specialized instructional settings
• Deliver targeted intervention and individualized support in moderate classrooms and self-contained environments
• Collaborate with co-teachers and resource teams to create inclusive, engaging classroom experiences
• Utilize differentiated instructional strategies and maintain thorough student documentation
• Actively participate in IEP development and meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
