Special Education Teacher in Great Falls, SC

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a Special Education Teacher across multiple school sites. This position offers a diverse and impactful experience with roles available at the elementary, middle, high school, and PreK levels. Day-to-day assignments include settings that range from moderate and self-contained classrooms to co-taught resource rooms, ensuring variety and professional growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current, active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License with multi-categorical or relevant certification/endorsements.
• Experience working in moderate, self-contained, or co-taught environments is a plus.
• Flexibility and adaptability across different age groups and educational settings.
• Strong commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general educators and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students in assigned settings (elementary, middle, high school, or PreK).
• Implement IEP goals and track student progress using data-driven strategies.
• Collaborate closely with other educators and specialists to promote student success.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive learning atmosphere.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent communications, and staff development.

Assignment Details:

• Full-time, 35-37.5 hours per week, schedule varies by site.
• Positions available ASAP through late May 2027.
• Primarily onsite—option to consider virtual instruction as the school year approaches.
