Make a meaningful impact by leading and supporting early childhood education initiatives in a full-time contract role beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 27, 2027. This opportunity is designed for dedicated professionals ready to guide Early Childhood Special Education programs as a supervisor and coordinator. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping instruction and supporting both staff and families throughout key program processes, including Early Intervention and facilitating meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education or child development
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with required administrative endorsements
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in an early childhood classroom or program setting
  • Strong expertise with Illinois Early Learning Standards and ISBE guidelines
  • Proven leadership skills, including staff training and development
  • Excellent abilities in parent communication and collaborative teamwork
  • Familiarity with the full Early Intervention process and experience facilitating educational meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate early childhood special education programs, ensuring compliance with all state standards and district requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and support instructional staff; organize and deliver training sessions
  • Manage and facilitate early intervention processes, including multidisciplinary meetings and communication with families
  • Build effective partnerships with parents, sharing resources and guidance as children transition through early intervention and early childhood special education
  • Maintain thorough documentation, reports, and records as required by ISBE and educational guidelines
