Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Teacher endorsement

• Deep commitment to promoting an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Adapt instructional strategies and materials to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support professionals, and parents to provide comprehensive support
• Maintain accurate student records and document progress toward IEP goals
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to ensure best practices are followed
