Travel Inpatient Pharmacist in Cicero, IL

An experienced inpatient pharmacist is needed to support a 300-bed hospital's overnight shift. This travel opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with Illinois licensure and inpatient experience who are ready to contribute immediately.

Location: Cicero, IL (with assignment at a hospital in Quincy, IL)
Shift: Overnight (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM), working 7 consecutive nights followed by 7 nights off
Duration: 13 weeks with possibility for extension
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities include:

• Managing medication distribution and verification for inpatient units
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborating closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapies
• Utilizing EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Illinois pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records, with prior experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently overnight while maintaining a high level of accuracy and patient safety
