Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Special Education (IL SPED) certification required
- Experience in school settings preferred

- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively
Responsibilities:
- Lead instruction and classroom management for a self-contained Kindergarten class
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs and abilities of each student
- Implement and monitor IEPs, maintaining compliance with all regulations
- Employ a range of instructional strategies, interventions, and accommodations
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers
- Actively participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
