School Psychologist - Cicero, Illinois

Make a meaningful difference in student success as a school psychologist for the 2024-2025 academic year. This contract opportunity is located close to Cicero, IL, with the assignment running from August 26, 2024 through June 10, 2025. Serve a vibrant elementary school population of approximately 380 students and play a vital role in supporting learners, families, and staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working in school or educational settings preferred
• Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) processes
• Strong knowledge of special education evaluations, including initial and re-evaluations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Ability to provide support in crisis situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as a valued team member for all initial and re-evaluations for special education students in the elementary school
• Conduct data reviews and offer expertise in MTSS meetings to support individualized student learning needs
• Be available to assist students in crisis, working closely with staff and families
• Participate in district-level support for parochial initial and reevaluations under the guidance of the Asst Superintendent of Student Services
• Adhere to the school schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm
