Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure (State of Illinois PEL with school psychology endorsement)
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, psychological testing, and intervention strategies for K-12 students
- Experience writing comprehensive evaluation reports and participating in IEP/504 meetings
- Excellent communication skills to consult effectively with families, teachers, and administrators
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive school climate
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop evidence-based intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support special education eligibility and student services
- Promote and implement programs that support social, emotional, and behavioral health
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Contribute to positive school-wide practices, including PBIS and MTSS initiatives
