Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Illinois.
  • Proven experience with psycho-educational assessments and report writing.
  • Familiarity with special education services, IEP processes, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs.
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
  • Offer guidance and training to school staff regarding mental health and behavioral strategies.
