A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist to support students during the full 2024-2025 school year. This role involves working primarily with the preschool population, based at an elementary site. The position offers a flexible combination of onsite or hybrid work as needed, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.

Responsibilities include assessments, collaborating with staff and families, supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and delivering direct and consultative psychological services. You will handle a specific grade-level caseload, with the number of assigned schools determined by the district’s needs. Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois with a School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Experience working with preschool or elementary-aged children preferred
  • Knowledge of MTSS, RTI, and best practices in assessments and interventions
  • Skilled in developing and implementing behavioral and academic support plans
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable adapting to hybrid service delivery if needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and families for student support planning
  • Participate in IEP and team meetings
  • Provide both direct services and consultative support
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with district and state procedures
