Qualifications & Credentials:

• Valid Illinois School Psychologist license required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) for School Psychologist mandatory
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Understanding of state and district regulations and compliance standards
• Strong interpersonal, consultation, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Develop and interpret individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and direct student support
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Consult on behavioral interventions and data-driven decision making
• Maintain accurate, confidential student records and reports
• Participate in eligibility meetings and student support forums
