Make a meaningful impact in educational environments by supporting students’ emotional, academic, and behavioral development in a contract School Psychologist role. This position, working closely with school staff and families, focuses on administering assessments, interpreting data, and recommending individualized interventions to help students thrive. Your expertise will play an essential part in creating a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in school psychology and are passionate about advocacy for students with diverse needs, particularly those who may benefit from Sign Language Interpreting (SLI) services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Proven experience working in K-12 settings
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and instructional interventions
  • Experience or comfort working with students needing SLI support
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding strategies for academic and behavioral support
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to assess and address the needs of students, including those who require SLI
  • Deliver short-term counseling or crisis intervention when needed
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
