Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Teaching License (active status required)
• For Early Childhood PCD: Dual certification in Special Education and Early Childhood
• For K-3 ID Mild/Moderate: SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement needed
• Experience teaching special education, ideally with early learners or self-contained K-3 settings
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Commitment to inclusive education, differentiated instruction, and fostering growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality instruction in inclusive and self-contained environments for students aged 3-4 and K-3
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt lesson plans to address varying abilities, encouraging independence and academic success
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators, related services staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere
• Uphold all compliance and documentation standards as required by state and district guidelines
