Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students as a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract assignment offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant school community near Waterbury, CT, beginning August 24, 2026, and running through May 2027. There is also potential to extend through the remainder of the school year, offering valuable continuity for both you and your students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Connecticut licensure and certification in School Psychology
  • Demonstrated experience working within school settings, particularly with high school students
  • Proficiency in evaluation administration, assessment procedures, and preparing PPT reports
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to collaborative, student-centered support
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite for the duration of the contract
  • Open to participating in a streamlined interview process via Zoom

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services to a high school caseload, including conducting assessments and delivering targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, staff, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Prepare and present detailed PPT reports in accordance with state and school guidelines
  • Support students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being through direct counseling and intervention
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development
