Make a meaningful difference supporting elementary students as a dedicated professional providing speech-language pathology services. This full-time, onsite contract position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about facilitating communication growth in a supportive school environment. With 35 hours weekly and two openings available, you’ll play a key role across elementary caseloads—potentially splitting your time between two school sites.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active speech-language pathology license in Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience
  • Availability for full-time (35 hours/week) onsite service
  • Ability to work with elementary student populations
  • Willingness to split caseload between two locations as needed
  • Successful completion of district fingerprinting and background check
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Upfront licensure highly desirable
  • Only SLPs with CCCs will be considered—assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct and interpret assessments, documenting outcomes clearly
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel between assigned schools within the district as necessary
  • Engage in ongoing communication with school staff and families
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and reports for compliance
