Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a dedicated school psychologist, supporting K-8th grade students through a variety of needs. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for professionals devoted to fostering student success and well-being. With a focus on behavioral interventions and comprehensive case management, your expertise will play a pivotal role in supporting a thriving learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school setting, preferably K-8th grade
  • Strong background in behavioral interventions and assessment
  • Familiarity with IEP process, psycho-educational evaluations, and relevant state/federal regulations
  • Solid interpersonal and organizational skills to foster collaboration with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations for students referred for special education, with a primary focus on behavior and learning needs
  • Provide general case management, including monitoring student progress and updating documentation as required
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents to implement effective support strategies
  • Participate actively in student support meetings and serve as a resource for best practices in behavioral supports
  • Promote positive mental health and contribute to an inclusive, supportive school culture

This role is structured for full-time availability at 30 hours per week, allowing you to make a lasting impact through collaborative problem-solving and direct student support.
