Make a meaningful impact supporting K-5 students through a dynamic, contract-based opportunity as a School Psychologist. This full-time position offers you the flexibility to work in a hybrid setting, blending on-site involvement with remote capabilities, all near the vibrant Des Plaines area.

Bring your expertise in school psychology to a supportive educational environment where you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance students’ learning experiences and support their social, emotional, and academic growth.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement required)
  • Experience supporting elementary students (K-5 preferred)
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating across disciplines
  • Ability to design, administer, and interpret appropriate assessments
  • Strong communication, consultation, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to thrive in a hybrid (on-site/remote) schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for K-5 students
  • Deliver counseling and intervention services to individuals and small groups as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor IEPs and Section 504 plans
  • Participate in problem-solving meetings and provide recommendations to support student success
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school climate
