Bring your expertise and dedication to a dynamic school setting, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower young learners from PreK3 to 3rd grade. This in-person contract position is tailored for professionals passionate about supporting elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities, shaping their communication skills and making a lasting impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience with elementary-age students, particularly PreK3–3rd grade, preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students ages PreK3 through 3rd grade with mild to moderate speech-language impairments
  • Administer standardized assessments to evaluate communication needs and guide treatment planning
  • Develop, implement, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress in inclusive and pull-out settings
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to educational planning and team goals
