Key Qualifications:

• Must meet “highly qualified” status through ONE of the following:
  • Passing the MN Para Educator Exam
  • Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Documented proof of qualification and resume are required for consideration
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to assist with toileting and provide inclusive support as needed
• Flexible, team-oriented, and patient attitude

Role Responsibilities:

• Support students in either a center-based setting or in resource/Setting 1 & 2 roles
• Rotate between grade levels as assigned (typically one grade in the morning, another in the afternoon)
• Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized instructional and behavioral strategies
• Foster a supportive, encouraging environment that meets each child’s needs
• Be adaptable and proactive in assisting with classroom management, learning activities, and personal care
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold district standards

Position Details:

• Contract role, Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week
• Schedule: 9:10 AM – 4:10 PM
• Start date: September 3, 2026, with an initial 90-day period and potential for direct hire after contracting

Pay for this opportunity is $20 per hour, aligned with district guidelines and dependent on documentation of qualifications.
