Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist serving a vibrant school community in the Anoka, MN area. This long-term substitute position focuses on early childhood special education, supporting a caseload of children ages 3-5 during a 12-week assignment. Enjoy a part-time schedule, working 22.5 hours per week across three days (Monday to Friday, specific days to be determined).
In this role, you’ll work with dedicated educators to provide speech-language therapy and support tailored to each student’s needs. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference during a pivotal period in these young learners’ development.
Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience with early childhood and/or school-based caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) populations
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide current resume highlighting relevant experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services for children ages 3-5
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Engage in team meetings and case consultations as needed
- Maintain flexible and adaptive approaches to meet dynamic student needs
