Discover a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in multiple educational settings as a School-based Occupational Therapist in the Anoka, MN region. With four openings available—each offering unique experiences—this is a great fit for OTs who are passionate about making a difference in special education environments.

Available Opportunities:

  • Position 1: Leave of absence, August 31st–November 13th (North Education Center). 0.8 FTE, 32 hours/week, 4 days/week. Support students receiving Setting IV special education services.
  • Position 2: Leave of absence, September 21st–January 4th (no work during winter break, South Education Center). 40 hours/week, 5 days/week. Support students receiving Setting IV special education services.
  • Position 3: Full school year, 20 hours/week, split between two locations (south metro & Ann Bremner Education Center). Provide services to special education students in both mixed and Setting IV placements.
  • Position 4: Full-time hours, pending district confirmation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with school experience, particularly in special education settings.
  • Ability to support students receiving intensive services (especially Setting IV placements).
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills for working within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Capacity to work the full school schedule and the specific length of each assignment.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between locations as needed.
  • Successful completion of agency onboarding and district background check.
  • Good standing from previous placements, if credentialed.

Responsibilities include implementing OT strategies, documenting student progress, collaborating with educators, and adapting interventions to each student's needs.
