Special Education Teacher - Anoka, MN

What you'll bring:

• Valid, active Minnesota special education teaching license (PELSB/MDE—required).
• Tier 2 licensure or higher is a must.
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation.
• Strong communication skills to work closely with paras, interveners, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of up to 10 students with the support of paraprofessionals and an intervener.
• Designing and delivering instruction that meets the unique needs of each student.
• Developing, monitoring, and updating IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Tracking student progress and adapting strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional development.
• Facilitating family communication and engagement to support student growth.
• Collaborating with school staff to ensure the best possible educational outcomes.
