Special Education Teacher - Lakewood, Ohio

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Proven experience working with students with Multiple Disabilities (MD), preferably at the K-2 level
• Expertise in executing and adapting modified curriculum lesson plans
• Skilled in providing individualized accommodations and supports
• Ability to maintain routine and structure in diverse classroom settings
• Commitment to creating a safe, nurturing atmosphere

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans promoting engagement and progress for K-2 students with MD
• Support each student’s IEP goals, making adjustments as needed to their learning plans
• Manage classroom routines and ensure a positive, secure space
• Collaborate effectively with support staff, therapists, and families
• Track student progress and provide detailed reporting as required
