In this rewarding assignment, you'll support learners with mild to moderate needs using a combination of push-in and pull-out services within an inclusive educational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with high school-aged students preferred
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and compliance requirements
• Comfortable working with students classified as mild/moderate (General IS)
• Strong skills in adapting curriculum and instruction
• Effective communicator with students, staff, and families

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering specially designed instruction within both general and special education classrooms (push-in/pull-out)
• Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborating with general educators, school staff, and families to support student learning
• Monitoring progress and maintaining data on student performance
• Creating an encouraging, supportive, and structured classroom environment
• Providing consultation and resources to faculty on best practices for inclusion and accessibility
