Key Qualifications:

• Current certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain such licensure prior to start date)
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in school settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, families, and administrators
• Ability to develop, implement, and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in fast-paced educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction, interventions, and support as outlined by IEPs for assigned students
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, adaptations, and communications
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
• Support classroom management and differentiated instructional activities
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for special education
