Key Qualifications:

• Valid credentials as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience working collaboratively with school teams to assess student needs
• Strong understanding of special education processes and compliance
• Familiarity with conducting educational evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators
• Flexibility to travel between sites within the county as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal assessments to determine eligibility for special education services
• Develop and present assessment results for multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and related service providers on evaluation and intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of evaluation paperwork
• Partner with families and educators to explain assessment findings and recommendations
• Support ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations

Position Details:

• Two positions available to better meet the needs of the district
• Workday typically runs 7 hours, generally scheduled between 7:45 am and 3:15 pm
