Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (please include certification with your application)
- Experience with early childhood, middle, or high school populations preferred
- Strong commitment to personalized learning and student growth
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively and monitor student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction based on student needs
- Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families
- Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and adaptive materials
- Provide emotional and behavioral support as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
