Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, valid LBS1 certification
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP management, implementation, and documentation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Passionate commitment to advocating for students with diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and inclusive instruction that aligns with students’ IEPs
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet varying ability levels
• Work closely with colleagues, staff, and families to develop and monitor educational plans
• Maintain detailed, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Create a positive, encouraging learning environment that enables each student to thrive
• Effectively manage classroom behavior and promote social-emotional learning
• Utilize a variety of assessment tools to track and report on student progress
