Special Education Teacher | Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Candidates will begin the assignment in early August 2026 and finish in late May 2027, working a steady 37.5-hour weekly schedule in an onsite setting.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity)
• Experience or training in either intensive support or supplementary/resource instruction
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with related service providers and families
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and required documentation
• Adapt curriculum and teaching techniques to address individual differences
• Communicate effectively with general education teachers and administrative staff
• Participate in ongoing professional development and meetings as required
