Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working within K-12 schools, conducting assessments, and implementing interventions
  • Solid knowledge of special education laws and processes
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to provide crisis intervention and support as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and academic assessments to evaluate student needs and eligibility for services
  • Interpret results and communicate findings to educational teams and families
  • Develop and support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Offer consultation to teachers and staff on strategies for student success
  • Deliver group and individual counseling as required
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide input on student progress
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
