Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active or pending Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and facilitating domain meetings
- Working knowledge of early intervention transitions, including TPBA
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and families
- Commitment to maintaining documentation in accordance with state and federal standards
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in all domain meetings for evaluations
- Perform comprehensive student evaluations (approximately 63 annually)
- Oversee the early intervention (EI) transition process, including TPBA assessments
- Attend MTSS referral meetings as required for individual student needs
- Maintain clear and timely communication with district staff and families
- Serve as a resource at the district office, without daily involvement in student or staff management
This position runs from ASAP through June 19th, 2027, with structured hours from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, ensuring a consistent, predictable schedule.
