Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active or pending Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations and facilitating domain meetings
  • Working knowledge of early intervention transitions, including TPBA
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and families
  • Commitment to maintaining documentation in accordance with state and federal standards

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in all domain meetings for evaluations
  • Perform comprehensive student evaluations (approximately 63 annually)
  • Oversee the early intervention (EI) transition process, including TPBA assessments
  • Attend MTSS referral meetings as required for individual student needs
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with district staff and families
  • Serve as a resource at the district office, without daily involvement in student or staff management

This position runs from ASAP through June 19th, 2027, with structured hours from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, ensuring a consistent, predictable schedule.
