Step into a rewarding role where your expertise as a School Psychologist shapes the future of students across a dynamic educational setting near Manchester, CT. This full-time, onsite position focuses exclusively on evaluations, providing a unique opportunity to leverage your assessment skills to drive meaningful outcomes for students and educational teams.

As a trusted member of the school community, you’ll work 35 hours per week throughout the full academic year. Your focus will be exclusively on all evaluations—no counseling services required—ensuring you can use your knowledge and experience in psychological assessment to its fullest potential.

What we’re seeking:

  • State licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience performing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Knowledge of current assessment tools and best practices in special education eligibility
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to communicate assessment results effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of a school setting

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a variety of student evaluations, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional
  • Interpreting data and presenting clear, actionable recommendations
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines for special education assessments
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing your expertise to eligibility and placement decisions
