Step into a vital role supporting high school students as a dedicated School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This onsite contract position runs from August 24, 2026, through May 2027, with the potential to extend for the remainder of the academic year. Working 35 hours per week, you'll be an integral part of a collaborative student services team, focusing on evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting within a high school environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • Active and current Connecticut licensure and School Psychologist certification
  • Proven school-based practice, ideally working with high school populations
  • Strong background in administering evaluations and interpreting results
  • Experience preparing comprehensive PPT reports and participating in team meetings
  • Commitment to promoting student well-being and academic success
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for working with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for high school students
  • Complete and present thorough PPT reports, contributing as a core team member
  • Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to support individual student needs
  • Develop and help implement intervention strategies in a collaborative setting
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date student records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in regular team meetings to develop and monitor IEPs
