Special Education Teacher - Anoka, MN

With a roughly 0.5 FTE schedule (approximately 18 hours per week), you’ll collaborate with colleagues to provide tailored instruction and services to young learners with an ABS caseload. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License required (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only)
• Previous experience with elementary students and ABS caseloads preferred
• Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for supporting diverse learners in an inclusive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students with academic and behavioral support (ABS) needs
• Develop, monitor, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to inform instructional planning and student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain thorough documentation and necessary compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing team discussions
