Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting K-12 students with your expertise in occupational therapy. This full-time opportunity focuses on delivering critical OT services in an engaging school environment near Aurora, CO, working closely with students, staff, and families to promote student independence and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license is required
  • Previous experience working in school-based OT settings, preferably with elementary, middle, or high school students
  • Strong skills in completing evaluations, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with educators
  • Ability to organize a varied caseload, including overflow evaluations
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Flexibility to support different school levels across sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Manage a diverse caseload and conduct assessments and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to educational goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress
  • Provide consultation and training for school personnel to facilitate inclusion
  • Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to therapy services

Position Details:

  • Contract role, onsite only
  • Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (36 hours weekly) through May 20, 2027
  • Caseload includes elementary, middle, and high school students at multiple campuses
