Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students across diverse settings as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school-based environment near Aurora, CO. This full-time, contract role is a key leave coverage opportunity, offering the chance to deliver hands-on care and educational interventions that help students succeed academically, socially, and in daily life skills.

As an integral part of a dedicated student services team, your expertise will support individual IEP goals and promote student independence. Assignments will be determined upon placement, allowing for a varied and rewarding schedule working with students spanning kindergarten through high school.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Colorado Department of Education Occupational Therapist certification (ages birth through 21)
  • Previous school-based OT experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse age groups and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to complete a background check following offer acceptance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, evaluate, and document students’ motor and functional needs
  • Use evidence-based interventions to support students’ participation and performance in classroom and life skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines and school district policies
