A unique opportunity awaits for a skilled Physical Therapist interested in supporting students in a vibrant school setting near Lawrence, Massachusetts. This contract position covers the academic year from September 1, 2026, through June 14, 2027, and requires one onsite day each week. Contribute your expertise in physical therapy while making a tangible difference in the lives of children and young adults.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold an active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
  • Open to acquiring additional Massachusetts educational certifications, as required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Strong documentation skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students, supporting the achievement of IEP goals
  • Administer assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff, teachers, and family members
  • Maintain timely, accurate records and progress notes
  • Participate in meetings and support ongoing development of therapy programs within the school environment
