This contract opportunity invites a dedicated, compassionate Physical Therapist to work onsite one day each week for the academic year beginning September 2026 and concluding mid-June 2027. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active Physical Therapist license valid in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting is highly desirable
  • Willingness to obtain additional Massachusetts educational certifications, if required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently and adapt within a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students reach their physical developmental goals
  • Provide input into IEP meetings and student planning sessions, sharing expertise to support educational success
  • Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and uphold professional standards
